Mediterranean Collection
The Mediterranean Collection features pictures resulting from travels across Greece
and through the islands as far as Istanbul, Turkey.
The sailing parts were spent aboard a 52-foot Bavaria skippered by John Connolly who is a top instructor at San Francisco based American Sailing Academy. We sailed out of Lefkas harbor near the southern tip of the mainland, then traced the Homeric route through the islands.
The visual highlights of the trip were Istanbul, which is unimaginably and intricately beautiful. Then again, what can top the Greek Isles?
